Route 101. The road of life

Leningrad blockade. Thanks to the «Road of life» in the middle of November 1941, the first 350 sleds with flour passed along the frozen Ladoga. Already in December bread allowance was increased. Food and ammunition were delivered to Leningrad, machine tools and equipment were exported. Journalists of the MIR television channel were working on this film for six months. Hundreds of archival materials were raised: newsreels, documents, photographs, personal diaries. A 50 minute film shows the stories of ordinary Leningraders, the whole city and the whole country.
