“Snowy Street Running (And Please Move Your Car!)“

It’s just before sunset on January 18, 2018. New York, Susquehanna & Western’s UT-1, with No. 3040 up front, is northbound on Utica, NY’s Schuyler Street. It is 22 degrees and snowing. No. 3040 is bringing four covered hoppers back to the Utica Yard from Sangerfield, 23 miles to the south. Near the end of its run down Schuyler, UT-1 stops for a few moments as the crew wait for a motorist to move his car.
