Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass were very popular in the 1960’s. I grew up listening to their music. I just did some Billboard started performing around 1962. From 1965 to 1968, every song they released charted, 22-plus songs. This one, “Tijuana Taxi“ charted #9 on Billboard’s AC Chart. The song was written in 1965 by Ervan Coleman.
