Didn’t See That Coming - WWE Releases Bray Wyatt From his time as The Eater of Worlds to The Fiend, Bray Wyatt has been one of the most creative sports entertainers of the last few years. That creativity however didn’t sustain him as a WWE performer, having been released on July 31st. A man who Vince McMahon once gave rare praise to on the Stone Cold Podcast a few years ago, Wyatt’s run in WWE was an up and down roller coaster of pushes and dead stops. Citing budget concerns, WWE Corporate earnings reports however showing otherwise, World Wrestling Entertainment parted ways with the son of Mike Rotundo and the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan -- both with strong ties to McMahon’s company history.
