1992 Bikini Contest in Cocoa Beach

Here’s my video of a bikini contest held in Cocoa Beach back in 1992 over the Labor Day holiday weekend. They held a qualifying contest on Saturday and the finals on Sunday. The first place winner got $5,000 in cash and prizes which attracted some serious talent. I was there for both days recording video and this is my edit. I tried to use the natural sound as much as I could but they had both a DJ and a live band playing horrible saxophone music so I had to cover that with some licensed music. I’m pretty sure you won’t find a bikini contest like this today so let’s relive some history.
