US carries out first aid airdrop into Gaza with more than 30,000 meals parachuted in

The U.S. military on Saturday carried out its first airdrop of humanitarian aid into Gaza. This eyewitness video shows two U.S. military planes flying over the central Gazan city of Deir al-Balah. U.S. officials say more than 38,000 meals were airdropped over southwestern Gaza, in a combined effort with Jordan, reaching the northern part of the strip later in the day. Israel supported the humanitarian aid mission and a representative for the IDF stated that “our war is not against the people of Gaza, our war is against Hamas“.
