Pär Sundström and Joakim Brodén of Sabaton were in London recently to talk to MetalTalk’s Mark Taylor about their forthcoming eighth studio album ’The Last Stand’ which is out on Nuclear Blast on August 19th. ’The Last Stand’ is a concept album taking inspiration from definitive last stand battles from throughout history dating back to the Persian Empire with ’Sparta’ to more modern day warfare with ’Battle For Hill 3234’ about the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
