Peugeot 406 - Changing Rear Backplate and Wheel bearing

How to remove the rear wheel bearing and backplates on a Peugeot 406 with the drum in the disk handbrake arrangement. The old backplates were quite rusty, although not as bad as on some 406s mainly because i put a lot of galvanising paint on them but still flakes of rust were breaking of which caused annoying sounds from the rear of the car.
