Meet Sibusiso Maphumulo, one of our extraordinarily talented crafters here at Woza Moya and the man responsible for producing our unique hand-carved range of angels and animals. Woza Moya (“come spirit of change” in isiZulu) is an award-winning economic empowerment project of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT). Started over 18 years ago, Woza Moya currently enables over 1500 crafters living in KwaZulu-Natal’s Valley of 1000 Hills and surrounds, to earn a sustainable living through the sale of their beautiful handmade products.
