The 2023 Nissan Z packs a new engine and significant upgrades to an already solid platform. It’s paired to a 6-speed manual transmission (updated from the 370Z), or a new 9-speed automatic transmission. There’s new electronic power assisted steering, replacing the previous gen’s hydraulic steering, and a new clutch-type mechanical limited slip differential, replacing the old viscous limited slip differential. Mechanically, there are many similarities to the 370Z (same platform, though updated). There are three available trims: Sport, Performance, and Proto. In my video I’m driving the Z Proto.
