Why You Should NEVER Use APPS for Learning Chinese, Korean or Any Other Language

Today I wanted to discuss language apps and answer the questions I get all the time. Do language apps work? Can you learn a language with apps? Should you use apps for language learning? The answer to all these questions is NO. You read that right. Language apps do NOT work. You can NOT learn a language with apps. You should NOT use apps for language learning! If you value your time and money, don’t ever touch apps to learn languages. Forget about Duolingo, Memrise, Babbel, Rosetta Stone or whatever fancy new app is trending at the moment. You might pick an occasional word or expression with them here and there but even that will take YEARS. And you will NEVER be fluent by only learning with apps. So if I could only give one advice on how to learn languages successfully, I would say “DON“T USE APPS!“.
