Wooden spoons with inlay for Christmas Eve

In this video I demonstrate the process of making four wooden spoons with inlay for Christmas Eve. Christmas has always been an extremely important holiday for all Ukrainians. On Christmas Eve, 12 fasting dishes are prepared and the whole family gathers at the table in the parents’ house. And the main and most important dish of Christmas Eve is kutya. Kutya is prepared from boiled wheat and generously seasoned with honey, poppy seeds, nuts and dried fruits. I made these spoons specifically for spreading the kutya.
