Spoilers: I didn’t do George’s dance. This is such a pleasant little song. Hard to believe it was written by the same guy who penned “Working Class Hero“ 6 years later. The instrumentation is a lot of fun! John’s rhythm is bouncy, propelling the song forward. He adds neat little syncopations throughout to keep things from getting stale. Paul’s bass is a fun line, lots of movement. Yet another standout song for the Rickenbacker 360-12c63, as well. Chime heaven. Trivia: - Recorded initially on February 25, 1964 in 3 takes in the same session as “You Can’t Do That“ and “And I Love Her“ (and only 9 days after their Miami taping of the Ed Sullivan Show).
