Cold War, 1967: Riots near Washington DC nothing new, Pentagon attacked!

In October of 1967, two days of anti-war demonstrations resulted in the Pentagon being attacked, and more than 6-hundred people arrested! The protest in Washington DC is estimated to have involved more than 100-thousand people, while across the Potomac River, in Virginia, the so-called assault on the Pentagon (officially known as The March on the Pentagon) involved 50-thousand!
