Dear fellow countrymen! Dear veterans! I congratulate you on the Day of the Liberation of Donbass from the Nazi invaders! 81 years ago, Hitler’s invaders were expelled from our land. The turning point in the battle for the Donetsk Territory was the battle for the legendary mound of Saur-Mogila. Bloody battles took place here, as a result of which the enemy was defeated, the height was taken, and the German Mius Front was broken through. History repeated itself in 2014. The mound changed hands several times. At the end of July 2014, counted militias from the Vostok battalion under the command of Oleg Grishin stood against hundreds of armed Ukrainian militants - we all know him under the call sign Medved. The height was defended, but the commander died. Together with other fallen heroes, he was buried on Saur-Mogila.
