Sylvain Lemaire - La Marseillaise (Emotional/Epic Version)

“La Marseillaise“ Composed by Claude-Joseph Rouget de Lisle Arrangement and Orchestration by Sylvain Lemaire Special Thanks to Joël Dollié I’ve been wanting to do a cover of “La Marseillaise“ for several years. Today, with the presidential election approaching, I thought it was the right time ! When I was younger, I was in the orchestral band of my city. With my brother, we participated in military parades. I played the bugle, so I could not play “La Marseillaise“ because the notes of my instrument were limited. I had to stand still and listen to it. I remember the rain and cold freezing our hands, but the thought of the soldiers and their sacrifice helped me held on ☔️❄️. “La Marseillaise“ is a patriotic song from the French revolution. I can’t help but think, “What is left of patriotism in France? And what is left of the revolution?“. I remember all the military commemorations I used to attend... Today, are we up to the challenge of all these sacrifices? What would General de Gaulle said about the current state of France and its leaders? Do they defend the interests of the French and the Nation? So here it is, for the first time, I played “La Marseillaise“ ☺️🥁🎺 “ Allons enfant de la Patrie, Le jour de gloire est arrivé ! Contre nous de la tyrannie, L’étendart sanglant est levé, (bis) Entendez-vous dans les campagnes Mugir ces féroces soldats ? Ils viennent jusque dans vos bras Égorger vos fils, vos compagnes ! Aux armes citoyens, Formez vos bataillons Marchons, marchons ! Qu’un sang impur Abreuve nos sillons ! “ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ All my music is available under license for your professional projects Contact : sylvainlemairemusic@ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
