The paratroopers of the assault units of the Airborne Forces entered the forest planting where the Ukrainian Armed Forces units were located and suppressed enemy resistance with dense fire from small arms and hand fragmentation grenades. Subsequently, having cleared the strong point, the paratroopers were able to take possession of it and gain a foothold in the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
