Vladimir Putin thanks Russian supporters after landslide victory

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Russians in a pre-recorded video-address published on the presidential website on Thursday (March 21). According to the Russia’s Central Election Commission, Putin won a landslide with 87,28% of the vote, or over 76 million, on a turnout of more than 77% in the election which ended Sunday, both records in post-Soviet Russian history.
