Falling Water in UDK

This is a Work in Progress of the famous villa “Falling Water“ by Architect Frank Lloyd Wright. I’ve been trying to remake it as accurate as possible. I’ve started in April and I’m trying to finish it this summer. It started out as an experiment in the possibility of real-time Architectural Visualization in UDK. Which I still believe is possible. I’ve made the mistake of not making anything modular, even though that would have been really hard since the lack of any good blueprint of the building. - Textures are custom made in Photoshop - Models are made in 3ds MAX 2010 - There are a few standard things from UDK (i.e. some rocks, plants and the mangrove tree) - Trees are made with SpeedTree (which comes with UDK) The video above was recorded real-time with FRAPS in 1280x720 and 4xAA on an ATI radeon HD4850 and is running steady @ ~50 fps. I’ll figure Matinee out when the thing is done ;)
