The Gospel of John passage is the one that says, “And the napkin that was about the head of Jesus was not lying with the linen clothes, but was wrapped together in a place by itself“ In the early centuries this head cloth was kept in a cave near the St. Mark Monastery in the Old City of Jerusalem and during this same time the Shroud was kept hidden in the upper wall of the ancient city of Edessa Syria until it was found it 544AD. That is why the Shroud was called The Image of Edessa a long time ago. And this is also why the Head Cloth, The Shroud & the Dead Sea Scrolls have this radiation damage, because they were exposed to rocks, soil and water which emit radon gas. Radon gas is produced from the natural radioactive decay of uranium, which is found in all rocks and soils, the head cloth and the Shroud and the Dead Sea Scrolls were exposed to this environment for many years. The head cloth was moved to Ovideo Spain in the year 616AD, (This is why it is called The Sudarium Of Oviedo) The ark containing the head cloth was officially authenticated on March 14th 1075 by the King of Spain & he had the chest covered in silver with an added inscription “The Sacred Sudarium of Our Lord Jesus Christ“ It’s TRUE NAME This 33“ X 21“ cloth is covered with blood & fluid from the lungs and it has Type AB blood, the same blood that is on the Shroud Both the blood on the Shroud and the head cloth have type AB blood . The rarest blood type in the world, less than 4% of the people in the world have it . But it is 600% more common in Jewish people from Northern Israel, yes, where the mother of Jesus was born. But it is MUCH MORE than just the blood type match The blood has other markers. It is type AB blood WITH 1. Myrrh and aloes 2. High bilirubin levels 3. Blood Mixed with Fluid from the lungs 4. The blood stains reside on fabrics that have severe radiation damage 5. AB blood mixed with pollen’s from a thorn plant from Jerusalem 6.
