In Session with the Soyuz 017 Tube and 013 FET | Theoretical Girl

We took to the studio armed with a matched pair of Soyuz 013 pencil condensers, as well as Soyuz’ flagship large diaphragm condenser; the 017 Tube. Some subtle processing was applied afterwards, including gentle EQ and compression. Fortunately, the natural response of the Soyuz is very well balanced, so minimal dsp was necessary.
