A lot of times guys block with their lead hand when someone throws the right hand and they then counter with the right hand. This is a great counter. There is nothing wrong with that move. But Tom then shows you how to counter with the left hook when you get blocked with the left hand. Tom shows you how to block with the proper shoulder trajectory so that you can be in position to twist your waist so that you are able to counter with the left hook right over top of his right hand.
