Ukrainian forces use high-tech drone in battle to retake Bakhmut
Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial vehicle ’‘Leleka-100’’ gathers intelligence data to guide artillery in targeting Russian military hardware on the Bakhmut frontlines.
‘Leleka-100’ UAV, which is Ukrainian for ‘stork’, is capable to fly behind enemy lines of defence to detect clusters of equipment, infantry, providing essential information for adjusting artillery fire.
If an “interesting“ target is spotted, the information is passed to artillery command outpost, according to the unit operating the UAV.
