A Tribute to Dev Baba | Sai Baba’s Mahabhaktas

In this film, Dr. Vinny Chitluri pays tribute to Baba’s Mahabhakta, Anant Prabhu Walavalkar alias Dev Baba who was the grandson of Dabholkar (Hemadpant). His father Rajaram was a devotee of Lord Vitthal and he often prayed to the lord for a Dnyaneshwar-like son. His mother Sitabai kept poor health during pregnancy but Baba told Dabholkar not to worry and all would be well. Vinnyji provides details of the unique child who was blessed to suckle milk from Baba’s thumb, speaks about how he grew up with spiritual leanings and spiritual advancement, relates the incredible grace he received from Baba by being able to visit his ailing mother in the subtle form, his ability to cure people’s ailments by taking on their suffering, and his experiences in the Bhivpuri Road temple. Vinnyji ends the narrative by describing his marriage to Kishoribai who was like-minded and how the two of them went on to build a Sai temple in Ambarnath.
