I explore a small pool in the dry, thorny forests of the Brazilian state of Paraíba with my good friend, botanist and aquatic plant specialist Juliana Leroy. I encounter a variety of aquatic plants from families including Chara, Eleocharis and Nymphaea, as well as fishes such as Pike Cichlids, Featherfin tetras and the popular aquarium fish, the Pearl Cichlid, Geophagus brasiliensis. I hope you guys enjoy the video; I have tried to incorporate feedback from viewers, so the subtitles are slower and the music is quieter.
