Cocos Island (Isla del Coco) is a km^2 ( sq mi) island designated as a National Park off the shore of Costa Rica.
It was the original inspiration for the jungle island in the novel Jurassic Park. The film was mostly shot in Hawaii, not here.
The fictional island’s name in both the novel and the film, Isla Nublar, is a reference to Cocos’ status as the only cloud forest supporting island in the East Pacific.
The original video is not mine and has been edited.
Original: “Isla del Coco, Verano 2010“
The music is from “Journey to the Island“ from the Jurassic Park Soundtrack, by John Williams.
