WWE 2K24 Hands On Preview: New Features, Exclusive Gameplay, Ambulance Match & More!

Check out our full hands-on preview for WWE 2K24 featuring exclusive gameplay of all of this years new updates, including gameplay changes such as Super Finishers and the Trading Blows Mini-Game, the new Ambulance Match, 4 Player Backstage Brawls and the 2K Showcase of the Immortals celebrating 40 Years of WrestleMania. ☆☆☆ Gameplay Updates ☆☆☆ The gameplay in WWE 2K24 builds on it’s predessor with lots of small touches here and there, including new simulation aspects like the Trading Blows mini-game and the addition of Super Finishers like Cody Rhodes Cross Rhodes Trinity. Super Finishers are a much more powerful version of a move that deals major damage, though they require 3 finishers to use. Examples of Super Finishers include Rhea Ripley’s Avalanche Riptide, Roman Reigns Superman Punch Spear Combo and Seth Rollins Diving Curbstomp. Other changes to gameplay include a big update to announce tables, which can now be climbed and used to perform diving attacks, as well as brawling on top and performing regular moves. ☆☆☆ New Match Types ☆☆☆ Included in this video is the first look at the new Ambulance Match which sees an Ambulance parked at ringside, with the aim of the match being to throw your opponent into the back of the ambulance and close the doors. During the match players can use the ambulance to thier advantage and perform special carry and environmental moves, climb the ambulance and win in a variety of ways, including backstage in the parking lot. Also featured in this video is footage of new 4 player backstage brawls featuring several new additions to the backstage area, including breakable windows, vending machines, and a working evelator. Also shown off we have full new details and gameplay of the new Spectator Mode for AI matches. ☆☆☆ 2K Showcase of the Immortals ☆☆☆ This years 2K Showcase is themed around 40 Years of WrestleMania and celebrates some of the biggest matches and moments from the events history.
