Live Painting Session - Roses in OIls, the Final Stages

Nearly finsihed with this painting now, so streaming the last part live. This painting began as a demonstration of simplification and seeing as a painter sees - in patterns of light and shadow, rather than things. A markedly different way of perceiving our subjects. But it’s taken on a life of its own now :)
