OFFICIAL FULL LENGTH Getting Up: Legends Of New Radius Pilot

The Official FULL LENGTH 3.5 Minute trailer for the feature film Adaptation of the 2006 video-game “Marc Eckō’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure“ Directed by Elliot Montello, published on 9/06/2022 For More visit #StillFree #gettingup Directors Statement: from Elliot Montello ___________ “When I started this project, I had a clear goal and a wild idea of how I would get there. I wanted to make a concept trailer based on the story from the video game Getting Up - to prove to Hollywood producers it would be a wicked feature film. The idea was to take my proof of concept trailer and present it to the fans. If it was good enough, I thought, they could help build hype to start a conversation with Marc Ecko about the possibility of making a full-feature film.  So I set out with an unwavering belief in this project, my savings, a group of super-talented mates, and a pocket full of favors. However, the most impressive part of this story started once we wrapped. Not two days after we finished filming, I posted a few photos from the trailer onto a Getting Up Discord group, and that’s when everything got real!  The images and “behind the scenes” were shared so many times that Marc Eckō saw them and reached out to me himself. My mind was blown. We soon got talking about all things Getting Up. Then Marc agreed to come on board as a producer for the concept trailer and help pull together more resources to polish and package this release. He said, “why should we stop here? Let’s make a movie!“ Over the last nine months, Marc and I have become good friends working on this project and getting everything in place to make Getting Up into an actual full-length feature film. None of this would have been possible without you guys, so thank you all for believing in me, sharing the teaser we released on 9/06, and all the fantastic stories you shared about your experience playing the game.  So here is the three-and-a-half-minute concept trailer; I’m very proud of what we achieved in 5 days of shooting, with limited resources, running on caffeine and aerosol fumes. True Guerilla filmmaking. Just think about what we WILL do with full backing!“ ___________ This effort is dedicated to all the incredible people and communities worldwide who have kept “Getting Up & The Still Free Crew“ alive in your hearts and imaginations!
