JS Bach / Jacqueline du Pré, 1962: Adagio, from the Toccata in C, BWV 564 - Angel

In this performance recorded July 15, 1962, seventeen year-old Jacqueline du Pré (1945-1987), accompanied by Roy Jesson (1926-1972), performs the Adagio from Bach’s Toccata in C major, BWV 564. I created this music video from the LP, “A Jacqueline du Pré Recital,“ issued on the Angel label, serial number S-37900.
