Learn How to Paint “FESTIVE FAIRY“ with Acrylic - Paint and Sip at Home - Fun Easy Fantasy Tutorial

PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – This painting tutorial will take you through easy step-by-step instructions on how to draw and paint this fantasy portraiture image of “FESTIVE FAIRY” with acrylic paint. Making Christmas magic is no secret at all, it’s a communal effort of all those hard-working individuals residing up in the North Pole. The shop elves making and preparing all the presents, Mrs. Clause reading and sorting through all the letters from the children, the kitchen elves making and preparing all the baked good, the penguins feeding and grooming the reindeer, the reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh, Santa delivering all the presents and eating all the snacks left behind for him, and the fairies keep all the Christmas lights on. Everyone plays a part! A symbiotic circle that rolls on and spreads the spirit of Christmas across the world. But, let’s face it, it seems as if fairies don’t get enough credit as it is. I mean, come on! Would Christmas really be that fantastical if the lights were not working? No way! Lights give life, it’s the essence of the Holiday spirit. String, icicle, LED or incandescent, all are powered by fairies. Yup, electricity and batteries are just a ruse, and they are completely irrelevant and don’t make a difference at all. Those little butterfly winged creatures are the only thing keeping your tree, your house, your wreath, your presents, or anything else, lit. So, join me and paint a magical homage to those secret little nightly nymphs who make sure that our Christmases are never spent in the dark, with this mystical fun-filled fantasy holiday creation. The first lesson you’ll learn is how to use simple color mixing and blending techniques on the background for added depth and atmospheric dimension creating a heavenly and spiritually look, the perfect backdrop for your lovely lady to float above the evergreen. You’ll then learn how to use a dry brush technique to apply a mystical enchanting border. Then, after using chalk to draw the outline for your beautiful Tinkerbell, you’ll mix your own custom skin tone and hair color to apply as a base coat. Then you’ll add form and shape on the air gliding girl’s head, face and hair, and small details of sparkle-lit decorations on her head band and hair showing the movement, direction and volume of her long locks. You’ll then learn how to paint a dress by layering colors to accentuate the contours and form with properly placed highlights and shadows over her legs and chest that will develop realistic looking fabric creating a 3-d photo realistic effect for your hovering humanoid. You’ll also learn to paint her wonderous wand with magical dazzling sparkles and twinkles illuminating the treetop. You’ll paint a Christmas tree using a directional brushstroke for depth in the branches. Give your painting a POP of color by adding bright flowers or stars to the hairband, or mystical stars and sparkles in the fairytale scene. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors we’ll create this Christmas time illustration storybook painting that comes to life with a little imagination. Not just a beautiful, enchanting painting, but an easy painting for beginners. So, let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
