Druid - Toward The Sun 1975 (UK, Symphonic Progressive Rock) Full Album

A two-album band from Berkhampstead (Hertfordshire). Recognition came belatedly to this English band, decades after the collapse. Things seemed to be off to a good start in July 1975, when EMI hired the studio to present the band’s debut album. Druid had a powerful company behind it, the patronage of Melody Maker magazine, and the latest equipment and tools. It seemed that the guys had a long and glorious career ahead of them. The musicians made several demo recordings, followed by recording an album for EMI. The album’s release was delayed until the summer due to difficulties with the artwork. The guys worked a lot, but received very little. On the other hand, Druid was largely ignored by the rest of the music press. In the fall of 1975, the group undertook a tour of colleges in Britain... Both the disc and the group are the golden fund of prog rock. Tracks: 01. Voices - 00:00 02. Remembering -08:25 03. Theme -13:49 04. Toward The Sun - 19:16 05. Red Carpet For An Autumn -24:16 06.
