It was written in 1994, however, it wasn’t released until many years later on October of 2001 and in the 2001 version of Bad. It was originally recorded by Michael Jackson’s sister, Rebbie, for her 1998 album, Yours Faithfully, with Michael co-producing (with StoneBridge and Nick Nice) and singing backing vocals. source:
