The Porsche 911 GT3 is back! Porsche has brought back its powerful, race-oriented 911 variant after a few years ago, and it’s a celebration of driving engagement and performance. In this video, Alistair Weaver straps in with Porsche driving expert Patrick Long as they push the 2022 911 GT3 to the limit at Road Atlanta to track-test Porsche’s luxury sports car. The Porsche 911 GT3 is a luxury sport coupe that slots between the GTS and the all-powerful 911 Turbo in terms of cost, but it has a different goal in mind. That goal is speed and performance. For 2022, the GT3’s engine makes 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. That type of power is on full display with a 0-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 197 mph. Add in a new front spoiler, front diffuser and rear wing to enhance track performance, and you’ve got one of the fastest sports cars available.
