Is King Charles wrong to snub Prince Harry? Feat. Jemma Forte & Carole Malone | Jeremy Vine

The Duke of Sussex landed in London on Tuesday to celebrate ten years of the Invictus Games, and was keen to meet up with his father. But apparently The King just doesn’t have enough free time. Harry hasn’t seen his dad since February when Charles was diagnosed with cancer. A spokesperson for Prince Harry said: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. “The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.” The Palace has highlighted the King’s “busy“ diary this week with little room to change plans. The King will attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party which he opens today. He has his audience with Rishi Sunak this afternoon. On top of that he’s continuing his cancer treatment. Should King Charles make seeing his son the priority? Jeremy Vine on 5 is on television every weekday at 9:15am until 1:30pm on Channel 5.
