We only recently learned that the original is actually by a singer called Fred Neil (it’s a great version!) but only Harry Nilsson’s version reached the billboard charts in 1969 at number 6, after his version was used for the soundtrack to the movie “Midnight Cowboy”. What a cool song, we loved giving it a go, especially the acoustic guitar picking part!
