Scanning Negatives

In this first part of a multi-part episode, I am going to explore the possibilities of the process of scanning negatives for digital printing. Traditionally the 2 common ways of doing this are 1) scanning the negative into the computer and printing or 2) printing the negative in the darkroom. I think it would be particularly interesting to look at both of these methods and compare them.
