To discover their origins, four teenagers with inhuman abilities must escape the experimental lab that imprisons them—but is this, too, part of the experiment? Written and directed by Jordan Trippeer Condé Nast Entertainment and Indigenous Media have released six short films that were all directed by female filmmakers as part of Project HER, a digital video incubator series. The program connected filmmakers with seasoned mentors to help them develop a short film that could eventually be adapted for TV. The Project HER series offers a platform to make women’s voices heard, with the films spanning a range of genres.
