Swing Away Golf - PS2 (2000)

From developer T&E Soft. Pretty decently fun for a golf game. The graphics are crisp and colorful, the grass and trees rendered well, and the character models are detailed and attractive. The tutorial is a chore but over soon enough, and the gameplay is easily learned. The difficulty comes from timing ones hits, lining up shots well, and judging distance on the scale accurately. The game does feel sluggish at times, slowing down and pausing frequently.
