Orangutan Mother With Two Newborn Babies In New Enclosure

Orangutan Mother Jazz (30) from the Dudley zoo became super mum as she’s not just looking after her own 4-week-old baby boy Jim, now she’s looking after her daughter’s newborn baby as well, as her daughter found first-time motherhood a little bit challenging. Today they are in their new outdoor habit and just enjoying the lush green grass that they never really had in their old enclosure. Mum Jazz is carefully getting up with both the babies in her arms. She sits down again and has a snack as the two babies hold on to her. When she has a lie down you can see Jim, that’s her baby all alert looking around. Sprout’s baby is asleep and you can just see her bottom and little legs. When mum is chewing you can see both the babies on her belly.
