Saving Smoothy - Sam Smoothy’s Comeback Season (2021)

Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches. 2019 was a pretty brutal year for Völkl’s Sam Smoothy. A ski crash in Austria nearly killed him early in the season, and another later in the year sent him back to the hospital and questioning his career as a professional skier. Luckily, 2020 turned into a rebate year with an opportunity to get back into the flow of things during one of Jackson’s deepest storm cycles ever.
