Isn’t this a lovely stitch pattern? One of my favorites. I show you how to work it in one and two colors flat and also one and two colors in the round. Let me know if you have seen this before or know it by another name. Directions: Eye of Partridge in One Color worked flat worked over an odd number of stitches with garter selvedge. Row 1(RS): *K1, sl1 wyib; repeat from * until 1 st remains, k1. Row 2: K1, p until 1 st remains, k1. Row 3: K1 *k1, sl1 wyib; repeat from * until 2 sts remain k2 Row 4: Repeat row 2. Repeat these 4 rows for pattern. Two color Eye of Partridge worked flat, over an odd number of stitches with a garter selvedge.
