Today they are still fighting the battle for bread. When that battle has been won they will be able to bring us more of the other foods we want, milk, meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit but they must not be let down as they were after the 1914-1918 war.’ CU ’The agriculture Bill aims at giving farmers an assure market and guaranteed prices for their principle products while at the same time ensuring a higher level of farming efficiency. These principles are endorsed not only by all those associated with the industry but by all political parties.
