Dr Beth Lord is Principal Investigator for the AHRC Spinoza Research Network. She is interested in how ontology, epistemology and metaphysics intersect with philosophies of nature, life, and production, connecting seventeenth- and eighteenth-century thought with recent European philosophy – particularly Kant, Spinoza and Deleuze. Beth is author of Spinoza’s Ethics: An Edinburgh Philosophical Guide (Edinburgh University Press, 2009)
