Baroque Dance: Chaconne de l’Amour Médecin

For the finale of our Autumn Harvest ballet, the paysans, nymphs and gods unite for a final Chaconne. The music is drawn from Lully’s 1665 comédie-ballet “L’Amour Médecin“. The choreography combines some of the best excerpts from extant works with original sequences by Daniel Gariépy. La Belle Danse dancers are: Daniel Gariépy, Jennifer Fell, Stephanie Brochard, Adrienne Leggett, Bryan Greenwood, Suzanne Paterson and Melissa Fink.
