Syria’s First Lady Asma Al-Assad Diagnosed With Leukemia

Syria’s First Lady, Asma al-Assad, has been diagnosed with leukemia, as announced by the Syrian presidency on May 21. She will undergo a special treatment protocol that necessitates isolation.
