Twin turbo LS1 Lamborghini

With less than 450 made, the Lamborghini Jalpa is somewhat of a rare car these days. The factory V8 engine only puffs out a moderate 250hp so with that in mind Nick fitted a GM LS1 a few years back. The car had run 9.7 at 137mph over the quarter with a supercharger but it was quite hard on driveline parts, the gearbox being a custom built Toyota Camry transaxle. The blower is now gone in favour of a couple of Ford XR6 Garrett turbochargers that at present make 690hp to the rear tyres on moderate boost
