Salute to Leonard Nimoy, Raleigh 2015 Wizard World Comic Con

A salute to Leonard Nimoy. My husband’s band, Wake & District Public Safety Pipes and Drums, played a “surprise“ gig at Raleigh Wizard World Comic Con, to salute Leonard Nimoy in true “Mr. Spock“ style. Wake and District Public, thank you for playing for our fallen - whether they be in public safety jobs such as firefighters and police officers, or whether it be a fallen icon. Incidentally, the audible gasp right at the beginning, as people realized the tribute to Nimoy, made me weepy. Live Long and Prosper.
