Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born Tottenham, May 5, 1988) known simply as Adele, is a British soul singer, blues, pop and jazz, winner of eight Grammy Awards. The record company XL Recordings, Adele offered a recording contract, after a friend published a demonstration of Adele in her MySpace account in 2006. His debut album, 19, was released on January 28, 2008, which has sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide. With this album, Adele received the award for Best New Artist Grammy Award in 2009. Their second studio album, titled 21, was released in 2011 and has sold over 20 million copies. 21 was the highest selling album in 2011 and is ranked number five of the biggest selling albums of all time, has remained for 38 non-consecutive weeks as the world’s best selling album.
