Greenwich, London. Title: “Our Wonderful Weather!! Gale blows 100 ton crane 60 ft. into river at Greenwich...“ Crane falls into Thames and closing ceremony of the British Empire Exhibition in torrential rain. L/S of the mangled wreck of the crane in the River Thames, a barge floats beside it, several men seem to be occupied salvaging the wreckage. M/S of the wreckage. M/S of a man wading up to his thighs through the water - he appears to be attacking the wrecked crane with a crow bar. Intertitle: “... and then the next day deluge of rain completely ’washed out’ Wembley’s final closing ceremony by Prince of Wales“. M/S of Prince Edward, the Prince of Wales, walking on to the pitch at Wembley stadium with two men, they all wear top hats. M/S of the Prince and his companions inspecting a battalion of soldier in busbies standing to attention on the pitch. L/S of a vicar (perhaps, a bishop?) giving a sermon from a lavishly draped balcony that looks over the pitch and the packed spectator
